Kingslea Cottage is situated in the Winterberg Mountains at the foot of the Small Winterberg on the farm, Kingslea.

The farm and cottage is owned and run by John and Linda King.
They have three children, Justin, Daniel and Nicola.

This cottage offers the peace and quiet of the country and is favourably situated for the keen fly fisherman.

ACCOMMODATION:

Kingslea Cottage is a quaint, stone, thatched cottage with loads of charm and character. It has recently been renovated and restored. The cottage is fully equipped and has 2 bedrooms – one double bed and two singles – an extra bed can be brought in to accommodate more than 4 people. It has a bathroom with shower and bath and an open-plan kitchenette/seating area. It has a bar fridge and a chest deep-freeze. Linen and towels are provided and all the beds have electric blankets. Fresh farm milk, tea, coffee and sugar, as well as Kingslea homemade rusks are provided every day. There are braai facilities with firewood provided. The cottage is serviced everyday.

THINGS TO DO:

The Highland Home dam is just 3km from Kingslea and the Thrift dam only 10km. This is the closest accommodation - with lights and running water - to the Thrift dam.
Self-guided hiking, great mountain biking area.
For kids: Pony riding , great working farm experience.
