Experience trophy trout fishing in our two picturesque dams set at the foothills of the Winterberg Mountain Range. These well stocked dams are situated on the Bowers Hope game farm and offer superb still water fly fishing of trophy quality.

ACCOMMODATION:

Thrift dam offers 3 stone and thatch rustic cottages on the water's edge. Outdoor braai facilities are available. Each cottage sleeps between 6 and 8 people.

Lemietskloof dam offers a fully furnished serviced country farm house which sleeps 8. Lemietskloof Dam is situated on the same property as Thrift in a secluded tranquil valley where plenty of game abound.

THINGS TO DO:

Activities include sundowners, , trout fishing, bird watching, game viewing, hiking, horse riding and bushman paintings.

Tsolwana Game Reserve borders us and is 10 minutes from Lemietskloof Dam. They offer pre arranged game drives where you can view big game like rhino and giraffe.

RATES:

Thrift Dam cottages (sleeps between 6 and 8 people) - R80 per person per night.
Lemietskloof dam country farm house (sleeps 8) - R110 per person per night.
Rod fees are R200 per full day and R100 per half day at both dams.
